Finca El Silencio is the project of Sara Gutierrez, a fifth-generation coffee producer who masterfully bridges the gap between agricultural heritage and modern coffee science. Located in the heart of Colombia’s central mountain range in Buenavista, Quindío, the farm benefits from a singular microclimate where warm valley winds meet cool mountain air, allowing for a slow and complex maturation of the coffee cherries.

A standard-bearer for the next generation of Colombian farmers, Sara integrates sustainable practices, such as using natural pollinators from the farm's own apiary and avoiding herbicides, with high-precision processing. Today, she is known for her innovative approach to "Yellow Colombia" and "Caturra" varieties, utilising extended 168-hour fermentations and carbonic maceration to unlock deep, syrupy profiles that define the new frontier of Quindío specialty coffee.
